well even though I have a host of trick brand names and a bucket full of gucci part affixed to my bike, following that statement I feel totally justified is saying..........

there is a spare bolt hole on the pointy on the opposite frame rail to the reg.. why not use that. i think its where the tick over screw is/used to be. or extend the cable and stick it in the gap next to the battery where the relays are.
