Oi, some of us Gay Folk are still riding!

Wish I could drive though, it's too cold, my hands ache, the skin on my face is getting sore and the salt is rotting my bike in front of my eyes. I want to hibernate like a bear!

My year is done and it has been huge. It has not been without its trials and I'd be lying if I said there were times that I didn't want to get back on the bike. I arrived home yesterday and I am enjoying the prospect of having the option of not getting on a bike for the next couple of weeks.

Haven't ridden for a month and miss it immensely. Will try and take it out today if it'll start, not been on trickle or anything.

OCTOBER 31st? JEEZZZ!
I didnt ride for the 4 days we had over a foot of snow and that had me going crazy!
Its not so much the buzz of riding as much as the time saved by commuting on a bike. Takes me over and an hour to drive into work, only takes me 25min on the bike.
If i didnt commute on it then I prob wouldnt miss it as much but ATM one week off it has me pining at other bikes even if they're only parked up in a showroom it still makes me feel guilty for not riding mine.

Saw a ZZR parked up on one of the drives home the week before last and that was that - knew my bike was coming back out the next day.

Just put my old battery on the bike (Got the new one but waiting for the optimiser to turn up). Started second go. Bolted everything back up. Ran the bike for 10 mins. Checked and pumped the tyres. Ready for Monday I hope.

Went out today in the end. Anti-climax as roads were still carp so had to be careful.

Don't think I've been out since about Nov 28th...not bothering me at all, but I know I'll still love riding when I get the chance.
