I then get stung an extra £6 for gift wrapping. £130 for undies/wrap.

I don't believe it £26 for a pair of knickers with no material in. No wonder the wife wouldn't buy them for herself.

The shop even staple the reciept to one of their business cards. Why do I even bother with this, the business card was embossed in braille. I have never come across a braille business card before. Like I said in the original post specialist shop

Haha Gift wrap was a brown bag then Tim

Actually it was a cardboard box and ribbon with the name of the lingerie shop, and then bunged in a brown bag.

I'm a little fuzzy on the details (not unlike some of the lingerie on sale).
Your matching panty and bra set came in a cardboard box along with the wifes?

Simples - my daughter works in a boutique lingerie shop in our town, so I get her to measure the missus properly, then roll in a week later, choose some nice stuff then get 40% discount (and free gift wrapping). Win/win!

Nah...we discussed what mum would/wouldn't like and took it from there. She was just happy to get another sale against her name!

just go in and get it like you do another shop - trust me there is nothing worse than a man who fawns and moans about buying underwear or going anywhere near it in a retail sense!

Bought an ex some nice undies once many many years ago, wrapped up and left under the tree at her mum and dad's for her to unwrap before I came over on xmas day. I arrived to a frosty welome - said undies were a little bit fruitier than I thought. Apparently buying an 18 year old a peephole bra and crotchless knickers set isn't the done thing, especially when she opens the present in front of mum, dad and one set of grandparents.

I didn't know they were 'that' sort of undies cos they were for sale in a normal shop and in a sealed bag. Explained to all and they were ok when they saw I was as embarrassed as she was.
