Looks similar to yours but without the little extra compartment at the end. Does us grand, can get the panniers and everything in the outer compartment.
should they need rewaterproofing?

well after as much use as ours the waterproofing isn't as effective as it was when new. It doesn't leak or anything but when the rain hits it it should immediately bead up and roll off, whereas now the fabric seems to soak in and generally the tent takes longer to dry out than before. It's effectively like re-dubbing your boots, the effect doesn't last forever.

If I do make it to the ARTNW for a **** up on the Saturday night, this may quite possibly be my tent, the only car I've ever owned with a 7ft x 3.5ft load bay, seats folded. It should be quick to erect and waterproof!

small tents are great unless its raining and you have to take your wet kit off inside them. go try it, kit up in your rain gear then climb inside the tent and strip the kit off. for an even more authentic test wait till its raining then try putting the tent up in the rain with your kit on. that sounds a daft idea, well you might just have to do it when your miles away from home in some foreign country. better being prepared in the eventuality than getting frustrated.
If it's raining when I get there, I press a couple of buttons on the satnav and find a hotel.

And if the answer's expensive, mind if I trial it with you at the ARTNW?

I paid £65 off ebay just before xmas.

Preference would be try it alone though! LOL

Ah, that's reassuring atleast it's not ****ing through. Never had to waterproof my old tent, so got a tad worried then.
