Why hasn't anything been done about this yet. Not only is it extremely dangerous to bikers but also cars.

What happens if you end up coming off due to this and write off your bike? Those with 3rd Party only are going to get screwed.

I don't see why some people feel the need to do this. WTF goes through their heads that makes them think this is a great idea. :S

WARNING

update. the st marys loch road from moffat is covered in the stuff. i think people are mistaking oil for tar seepage. it looks and acts exactly the same as essentially tar is oil. the moffat to selkirk road goes on for miles. not much of a problem in hot sunny weather but just wait till it cools goes hard and rains. yes you have an 'ice rink'.

The council is busy spreading chipping one the roads around Brindle. I thought I was riding on marbles today. That bad that at the first opportunity I changed my route and got on the motorway
