where that pic for the

or
Facepalm
or head bashing into a wall any of those will do.

I accepted his price, (not a brilliant one but what the hell it'll do) I accepted it with no complaints. Do you see a thread where Im complaining he made me an offer? The rant was about his refusal to accept he'd be required to cover the paypal charges. Thats it, nothing to do with his initial behind the scenes offer, nothing to do with it been lower than my original price. Nicht Nada Null

Dear Santa,
Im purely disgruntled because he offered me £45 but then decided £42.50 would be much better for everyone concerned and appeared disgruntled that I may be of a different opinion.
Please please please put him on your naughty list.

Yours tearfully,

Yes it does. Wrap the item up, weigh & measure it, and it'll give you a quote.

Its based more on volume than weight.

The quoute is before VAT is added & factor in a little extra for the insurance, if the standard cover isn't enough.

http://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/

The other service is Parcel to Go, but I've had great service from Parcelmonkey in the past, so will recommend them

Others haven't and use the other service

The cheek is him expecting further reductions but unwilling to accept them himself is what pushed my button davido.

To follow up he accepted he'd pay £45 and that I could post it as I pleased. Im yet to recieve the payment so the item is still listed on ebay.
It's faceless so it's easy for people to be cheeky or just for things to get lost in translation. It's what it's worth to someone, I'm a right tight git so often get sellers getting really arsey with me when I email them asking them to do it at what I think it's worth...but I always justify it and deal with them politely. recent example a chap was selling a car stereo I've been after for £145- I wanted to buy second hand to save a bit but when I emailed the chap explaining they could be bought brand new for only £20 more complete with warranty, guarantee, pristine condition + a handsfree extra so felt I offered a fair £125 he told me to **** off!
Moral is, they're all ****s just don't be one and don't let it bug you when they are.

Although on principal I won't buy anything with over the top P&P.

maybe not a £2.50 odd discount, he's probably un comfortable with the gift thing as it means he can't get a refund if there's a problem.

Unless I've read it wrong again.

Possible slight de-rail, I once sent a set of forks to Ireland, agreed the postage costs with the buyer, £45. Took it down the post office only to have the guy say ohhhh this is a republic of Ireland and not a GB mainland address, thats an extra £30 mate. Did the guy cough up the extra money when I told him? Did he balls.

Well there's a box you tick on the gift bit that decides whether you (i.e sender) chooses to pay the fees on your "gift"

No seriously. He offered you a certain amount of money for the goods, delivered. If its not enough turn it down.He is only interested in how much the goods will cost him all in.You Id have thought would only be interested in how much dosh you get all in less your costs. The nitty gritty of what bits of the deal cost how much are of no real interest to either of you, just the bottom line figure.Do you get enough money on the whole deal or not.Its a purely commercial decision if the deal is worthwhile to both of you or not.I dont see it as being cheeky to establish that level.

You could always offer to be paid by bank transfer so he could avoid the fees too.
