He he, was your pocket money the only thing to take a hit then, I remember when I was smaller than I am now, my dad had an old 500 Matchless, it used to be propped at the sift of the garage. My brother and I were playing around the bike and it got knocked over. We both had trouble sitting for about a week from memory.

I bought my SV in June (brand new), just 4 weeks later I was off out on an early morning errand, I got the biek out, backed down the drive put it on the stand on the road. Got off, turned round to close the gate and BOSH... Over she went...

Gear lever, indicator, Bar end and clutch lever all bust.

Oh yes, I was annoyed and I must have looked a right plum with my hands on my head jumping up and down in frustration!!!

Aye, I wasn't popular. Somehow managed to convince him it was parked in the way and I had tried to get by and knocked it over. B0ll0cks, obviously, but kinda got away with it

Did you point it downhill? My brother-in-law did the exact same thing with a 2 month old Bandit, same damage as above but with a big dent in the tank when the bars twisted and hit it. Learned the hard way not to park it pointing downhill

How about riding off with the side stand down. I know you can't nowadays but I did a few times on my old TS100 many moons ago.
Never noticed until you turned left then the bike would buck like hell when the stand dug in.
Bruised gonads were the usual injury.
