I had my first experience on a bike today. Got to a point where I am now able to get the bike in gear and move away (and come back to a stop) under control Just gotta learn the rest of it now!

That is when it really gets fun, savor each moment, the fun of thinking about riding all of the time, trying to remember exactly what you did and why the whole time, and the deep feeling of excitement during the build up to every lesson. Enjoy.

Quick update guys,

I put a deposit on an blue 53 SV650S after viewing it today with a friend. The owner is getting it MOT'ed for me tomorrow and will be dropping it off in the middle of the week!

Welcome. Keep an eye on the AR section. And avoid the Madlanders, or they'll have you sat in a soggy field in France in the pouring rain all weekend which is what they do for fun.
