Taxidermy is an age old art and while a perhaps a little sick, I have no problem with people being creative. There are far worse things like the bottling of live kittens as an art form and amusement.

I dunno, in school we had a trip to a 'nature' study area of a museum, they had scores of birds and owl that had been stuffed and large wooden sticks crammed up their back passages to allow them (the entire birds, not just the back passages) to be easily examined without handling the actual feathers.

It was just disturbing, having an owl on a stick.
