My mate has one of these, great build quality too. Feels like a solid lump of metal!

Get one of these. Had them on a few of my bikes. Along with disc lock and a good chain.

Wired in properly they can be used to get engine ready for you to ride off.

Yeah they are. In fact you can control how sensetive they are to motion by placing them at different points on the disc. I don't have the book to hand right now but it's something like 'place at six o'clock to reduce sensetivity, place at twelve o'clock to increase sensetivity etc'.

But a Rottweiler - chain it to your bike.

You're welcome and I've had too much to drink.

Think I paid about £6 for a disc lock off ebay and it's never not worked haha, seems a bit pricey that!

That's fine if you're happy with a lock that can be made and sold at a profit all for £6. TBH I'd be worried about the quality of the construction of the thing. It may well provide a deterrent though which I guess is a good thing but do you know how it'd stand up to a good theft attempt?
I believe if a theif wants a bike badly enough then they'll have it one way or another but I'd want to make it as hard as possibe and hope they decide it's not worth their time & effort and they move onto an easier target.

The price in the previous link is as cheap as I've seen for a brand new XX14. It's also listed with insurers so you might see a little bit come off your premium? (yeah I know, pennies if anything).

I can't comment on other disc locks but I did a fair bit of review hunting before parting with my cash and this one seemed to be very highly rated. Plus, I mostly believe you get what you pay for in life.

Ah fair do's, I hadn't noticed that to be honest. I was on the phone when I found the link so missed that. I paid around £60 which I'm fine with, Busters are doing it for £59.99 with free postage. I Still think it's a good bit of kit even for that money, Although It's no substitute for a good chain and ground anchor when the bike's in the garage
