Err because they don't fit that easily, otherwise plenty of folk would have done it.

And subframe, fairing, seat, and you have your own gsxr

Have you told your insurance company? Did it affect your premium?!

I'm aware that someone from the US sells these kits over ebay, but the cost will run up to high when i take postage/ import tax etc into account.

So does any know of anyone who makes these in UK or does anyone know how much on average a machinist would charge to create them for me.

For the record, kit on this picture is not the kit from ebay.

a SS has good suspension that can be set up to reduce the effect to a degree, the SV has no such luxuries. a SS chassis is set up more aggressively than the SV for faster turn in.

so what does this all mean.. well you end up with a bike feels like a barge. ok so it will feel more planted due in part to the slower steering but you might end up running wide everywhere.

can you use the full width of the 160 that's on the SV?

yes it might look 'cool' but in reality it's not.

unless your prepared to spend lot and lots of money sorting out the suspension first your not helping.

but if looks are all that matters then bash on.
Bib,

120+180 section tyre combination on correct width rims works well... you're not telling me that GSXR600's handle like barges are you?

If you want 180 rear wheel, get Zorans kit to use K6> rear wheel kit from TWF racing. It works and works well. Weight increase is hardly noticeable and it opens up using cheaper scrub tyres.
