Well I should complain as I waited at Battlesbridge like a plum for a while but thanks Mac for giving me the shove to get out on the bike today

Went to Southend and enjoyed myself thoroughly even though I was a billy no mates. Lots of older style SVs about and I even saw a "Bronze" one like Macs!! I thoroughly enjoyed my ride into Southend with a bunch of Harley Riders and a few sports bikes for good measure.

Those who couldn't make it missed a good day!!

i was there. saw 3 SV's parked next to each other. and thought it was u guys.

later in the day, having a drink in the pub, i see my bike, same can, same hugger, same windscreen, same dirty patch of oil on the fairing with some other bloke riding it, just about to run after him (thinking its mine) and his number plate has a different digit in it to mine.


coincidence or what ?

What a day!

Fantastic ride to Burnham for brekkie then down to Sarfend. Back home to catch the Supersports and second Superbike race on Sky.

Hows Orchestra going - You wanna hear me on the Piano now Liberace eat yer heart out - doesnt go as fast as my bike though

Orchestra is going well but not the same without our chief flautist!! Are you as good as your dad on the piano yet? No excuse for not practising the flute either!!

I am pleased I got out there and I look forward to you coming back out and showing the boys how it is done!!

wish I was as good as my Dad on the Joanna - Id earn a living playing piano in a smoky lounge bar somewhere

Im sure your excellent Clarinet playing is making up for my excellent flute playing

You keep riding and join that Essex Advanced Motorcycle group (look them up on the search engine) youll be getting yer knee down faster and better than any of this lot hehehe - it really will improve your confidence and you dont have to take the test if you dont want to - I look forward to seeing the improvment when I come back -

Might venture out on the back of Mr Mumstoy at some point
