Then you should liten more to the people I listen to (only joking!)

I've been on this site for just a bit over a year, and Sv Rider a bit less, and though I'd messed with my 125 a bit I was a total newcomer to real bikes... But in that short time the two sites have given me the info and the confidence to seriously monkey around with the poor thing, much to my bank manager's irritation! I reckon the only way to get to know your bike is to jump in and get on with it.

You can get the theory from here, but the practical is the only way to properly learn. Go on. Get grease under your nails.

Definately... I kept the Orrible Yam going without even a manual and it was a nightmare... this place is an amazing resource for the meddler.

and crash it a good few times, re-building it always helps when you want to get to know your bike

I recently bought and fitted a round stainless one.
It looks like it is good quality.
It sounded nice on fitting, went for a run with it and could notice the much fruitier sound.
I got back home and removed the baffle, then started it up.
OMG, now it is LOUD.
Went out for a quick ride which was great.
WOuld recommend it for the price.
