what makes me keep it:

- The cheap insurance for a 18 year old with a fault claim
- The great looks
- The noise
- The outstanding amount of torque

Mmm..

V twin

cheapest sporty bike you can get

fun...I have not had a bike that is so much fun..it's a small word but means so much. No litre bike has amused me as much.

not fast enough for me to get into trouble

light

economical to run

and with low down grunt thrown in

It's a love affair of five years and growing

My 2 pennies:

It beautiful
It sounds the mutts
Low down grunt
cheap to buy, run, maintain and insure
enough power and speed to put a smile on your face

Last but defintely not least, this extremely useful and extremely helpful community

had customs, sports, all cc's. the sv (actually prefer curvy to pointy) is just a competent bike. bikes all have there glitches yeah but the sv is just so god damn pleasing..
...to look at, TO RIDE, to maintain, to insure, absolutely love evrything about it.
handles well two up and can be ragged apart and rebuilt in numerous guises. its a passion thing. me and the thunderdragon just love it.

The noise, cost and it's the best bike of our little riding group, apart from an R6, but that has a broken engine mount, so mine wins, as it won't shake itself apart.

It looks proper nice (especially after a good going over with polish and elbow grease)
It sounds like a real bike should
Any slower and I'd be bored
Any faster and I'd do myself a mischief
Chuckability
I can afford to run both it, the car, the kids, and even the mrs.
