oh dear, should I admit I have an inside leg measurement of 26-27 ?

Getting on my little sv is fine. Getting on the back of Joe's Thundercat is interesting. I have to use curb stones and the pillion peg as if getting on a horse.

Its only a problem when i get on a TL, the SV was fine for me even when it was jacked up on the rear.

Long body but short legs (inside leg 29 inches) making a combined total of 5ft 10ins... SV wasn't a problem but CB1300 is a bit more troublesome which is strange as the former has a higher seat height ... however I think it's also about the shape/width of the seat (the bike's, not mine).

The real answer is that those of who are shorties or have stumpy legs have special lessons prior to the bike test as to how to get on but we are pledged to secrecy...
