You're having the p taken out of you I feel... SV frames don't sell for much (they're very hard to break) but the Renes alone should net you a good sum, plastics in good nick will always sell, even with the bottom end destroyed there's good pickings on the motor- clutch, casings, cams, tensioners, heads and barrels even (maybe). Radiator's good for £50-£100, controls for about £30 a side, forks about a hundred. Wheels £100 for the front, £50 the rear, plus about £50 the discs. This is all rough guesses but these are fairly typical ebay prices. Locksets are quite valuable... Same for subframes, headlight, tank's worth at least £50 even if it's damaged, carbs... Of course, it's far more hassle to break a bike yourself but it really ought to pay off.
All this is assuming it's in otherwise good nick of course.

there in good nick mate.... im not being biased but my SV was ..( is ) in great nick ...
but its the haslle of doing it and the time ...i really dot have the tiem ..... im not being as i enjoy doing things like this .... im still im gutted ...i was genrally nearly in tears when the three bike shops said the same thing ..... O well ...the stewboy has to move on .... if o do go to the dark side ...dont dis-own me
