0-60 is based on weight and skill.

Fat knacker with no skill 0-60 pah!!!

Dani Pedrosa...now that is 0-60.

3.2 seconds sounds a bit too quick for an SV... the ZX-6R is supposedly a 3.2 second thing, and the CBR600 is a 3.3 and a 749 is down as 3.5 seconds...

Im just going form these links I found...

the SV is defo a sub 4 second bike though.. no doubting that....

Realistically, you would be lucky to see 4.5 seconds assuming you are a competant rider. Maybe 4 secodns if you were running on fumes, and were an anorexic clutch raping dwarf.

3.2 would be difficult.

A BMW M3 takes around 5 seconds to hit 62 mph and I've beaten M3's in a drag race off the lights with a little distance between me and the car so for my bike I would say it takes around 4.5 seconds, but then I only weigh 11 stones and I do have a 47t sprocket. However, I do normally have a full tank of fuel and I normally carry an Almax chain and lock, a Motrax Vishas disk lock and rucksack with a bike cover and any thing else I need for work with me so I could probably get it down to 4 seconds by getting rid of the unnecessary stuff.

I've done a few a laps of Donnington in someone else's Noble M12 GTO 3R and the accelleration isn't as exciting as my SV.

If I gave up little luxuries like food and shoes I could probably afford a Noble, I saved up for 6 months and paid cash for my SV.

SO I'm not really that fussed if its 2.3, 3.2 or 4.6, makes me grin every time.
