A***ole Whinger speaking as he did at the official post-match press conference just showed him up for what the whole of the UK know he is - a TOTAL PRAT whose selective vision is now internationally legendary !!

I personally would not be surprised if UEFA haul him up in front of them to explain his 'referee in Barcelona shirt' (paraphrased) comment - completely OUT OF ORDER.

JL deserved to go - I guess we've all seen matches where similar events have transpired but been dealt with by a Yellow Card - but who can complain if the ref applies the 'last defender' rule to the letter ?

TH was unfairly booked - no question about it - it was a fabulous (and fair) tackle - it's happened before & it'll happen again - didn't affect the the end result.

TH just had a bad night - 2 of his chances he would normally have put away no trouble at all

Barca's 1st goal was clearly NOT offside (as stated by AW)

Barca's 2nd goal has to be classed as a dreadful goalkeeping error

Interestingly, not a single Arsenal fan interviewed by Sky or BBC after the match mentioned that they thought the refereeing was particularly unfair.

Seems that the fans have a lot more 'class' than the Manager or Team Captain !!

I think it's a Manager doing his job of protecting his asstes, and he may honestly believe that the 1st goal was offside, it was very close, closer than is it/is it not a a penalty with Lehman.....

Denying a goalscoring opportunity by virtue of being the last defender when commiting a foul.

Thats why I use the inveretd comma's - I thought people wold realise what I was referring to without the full explanation !!
