Track morning on saturday, in which I didn't die, so that's all good... Then got home, fixed my coolant leak and spent the afternoon bombing around picking things up and dropping things off (new leather trousers, Bandit 12 wheel), before retiring to my brother's house for a family meal. Lovely...

Then on sunday, back up to knockhill for the racing, then decided to waste the evening doing nothing at all. Which was also great.

Sat, fixed toilet, built shelves, fitted loft ladder, washed bike.
Sun, rode to knockhill and back in the am, paintball in the pm, then beer and footie at night.
Great

Saturday - pick up new bike, got dumped in industrial estate by aforementioned bike hospital visit followed by soggy chip roll and beer.

Sunday - Knockhill by other bike to watch the racing, spent most of the afternoon asleep got sunburnt went to pick up other bike but couldn't cos battery in alarm fob failed, hospital visit in leathers (not a good idea far too hot) home for beer and more takeaway.

Not a bad weekend in all

Varnished a couple of doors....chopped down an out of control tree/bush thingy that was about to mutate into a triffid...had a bottle of Duchy Ale...bought some printer paper from PC world (bogof! £9.98 for 4 packets)...took broken vacuum cleaner part back to shop - got replacement for free - put kids to bed - had bottle of London pride (yummy!)...did some stuff...and some other stuff...went to bed.

I had an EXCELLENT weekend, I bought a boat, and spent all day on the river, then the evening sewing up the sail I ripped

But all was well, and my youngster took it for it's first race on Sunday, when she promptly sailed it into the bank - but there was no wind and couldn't do anything about it.

But what an ace time, and I ache so much! Trouble is I'm now torn between the bike and dinghy.

Juicy - where in West Wales did you go, as we sail around there alot.

We went to Cwmtudu first (that's where the seals live in the caves just off the beach). If you climb over the cliff you come to a secluded beach with a huge rock slap bang in the middle of it. We then went to New Quay which is about 4 miles from Cwmtudu.

New Quay has a harbour where you can go on boat trips around the coastline. New Quay is very touristy though, with one way systems through narrow windy roads and lots of little shops selling sticks of rock and buckets and spades!!

I guess you'll have the best spot to see the dolphins on a boat. The water is so clear in West Wales you would think you're abroad. Well worth the trip. Your little one will LOVE IT there.

That is slow for me! I just make it sound busy. For once I enjoyed the weekend instead of running round like an idiot. But hey If the invites there be warned i may just take you up on it!

Juicy, we tend to go around St Davids, can't wait to get 'The Fat Lady' sailing around St Brides Bay.

Now I wonder if I can get the bike in the boat to tow it down there
