Im so hungry wife has put me on a diet, even taken the beer out the fridge ok maybe I was getting a bit lardy but the season starts again in September so I'll soon burn it off maybe..

Long and thin or short and thick?
Depends on what I'm planning to stick it in.  French stick.................whole, long, thin sausages are best. Sarnies or rolls.............short thick ones cut in half.
