It's frickin' gorgeous, kept the SV for commuting though because I'm doing 130+ miles a day at the moment. You really notice the difference, especially brakes, but also stability at pace, cornering, only had it a week and a half and I've been right to the rim on the back, something I was never quite confident enough to do on the SV.

I say do it!

And there's a pretty decent forum for 'em as well.
How are you finding the fairing on the Tuono for windblast etc, that at the moment is the only thing holding me back?

Well, my SV's naked now and I ride up and down the A1 most days at reasonable pace, so I'm quite used to wind blast. However riding bolt upright with the stock screen I find it's putting the wind at about throat level, which gets a bit unpleasant from 85+ (I'm 5'11"). The SV is putting it at chest height which is easier. I'm thinking about getting a new screen to lift the wind a bit. Will be checking here for advice.

If you duck a bit, tuck up behind it, or just slide your **** back a bit, it does a fine job though, keeps the wind off you all the way up. Been riding it around at a fair whack for 600 miles or so and I only really notice the wind blast the first time I open it up each ride.

very brave of you to admit that

I found E-bike was the best for me on insurance. Did a bike safe course and fitted some R&Gs to get it lower. Only 1 yrs no claims but its locked up.

Yep ebike for me too - garaged, it only added £200 to my premium fully comp. 4 years no claims though and I live in the **** end of nowhere which helps!
