the exhaust bracket is at the back face of the foot peg.... if you have it on the front, it will end up like it is in your photo...

looking at your second photo, you are right, the can sits rather high... will your bracket come off the exhaust at all ? it may be an idea to take it off and turn it around...

Quill state in their fitting instructions that the bracket goes on the front. I'm leaning towards the wrong link pipe argument. If I fitted the clamp on the back of the footpeg, it simply would not fit on the exhaust, coz it sticks out too far. Cheers for your help everyone. I'm gonna have to wait for Quill to send me the new pipe. If you are at Frith on Friday, feel free to point and laugh but remember, I am significantly larger than you...

Yes TSM, it's round. It's also brand new, titanium and a third of the price of a new one, so I'll make sacrifices as far as your *ahem* interesting sense of aesthetics are concerned (Everyones SEEN TSM's bike, right?)

Yep, got the new link pipe through today and it definately looks like it'll fit a lot better. Unfortunately not soon enough for me to fit it before the regular Frith St rendevous tho... Be gentle with me!
