It had it's 24K service at 22K and it's mine! Got it last Sunday and have been playing since. Had to overhaul the rear caliper and drain as much fuel as I could out of the carbs. Fresh fuel, jump leads and hey presto! Changed oil after letting it warm up a bit. Got me a battery on order for Fri. Reckon By the end of next week it'll have an MOT.

Lots of cosmetic stuff to do though. Bloke I bought it off will get a shock when he gets the back tax demand. Hadn't SORN it or taxed it for nearly two years! Checked and I'm not liable at all (phew). He's already talking about buying it back off me! No chance. It's my little project.

Yeah they're fine.
Head race bearings for notchyness? When was swinging arm/suspension bearings last re-greased? Shock still okay?
Gonna nip to my friend of a friend mechanic and get him to check the shock and bearings. Doesn't bounce though. Will get him to grease the swingarm
Fork oils prolly needs changing?
Gonna do that if it passes MOT.
For starters, replacement exhaust down pipes
Exhaust is ok! End can needs a good wire brush and re-paint. Not even blowing.
Then you have the other bits plus others you may come upon(there is always something you miss).
Seat needs re-covering. Getting one ordered for £23.
Ben
Cheers Ben.
