Default Re: is me thic- undertray template

works well.
I modified it a bit cos it seemd too long for me.

plus I wanted to try and utilise the 2 holes on the rear panels and use the screws ... - time will tell if thats a good idea or not.

anyway - heres my effort so far. will look better when its a nice black ad not so glaring.. made a good number plate bracket form a tool hook too- ... hopefully it will all come together well...... couldnt find points to use the self tapping screws do u scre into the actuall rear bodywork so the undertray sits proudof it?.. I dint like that idea so got mine to site below it and curved the edges.. also instead of cutting the shole back off I flipped it forward and used it to clock off the ap .. and hopefully keep the rain out

just with my alarm and the other unit u have to move now there aint much room under the seat.. awwww

heres my afternoons work.. :

tell you waht - it is scarey takin a hacksaw to it..! - I pooped in about 4 times to check the computer and see I was cutting it right--.. may not have cut it correct even now-but I am quite happy with it.

yea the snow shovel is gone for good...

Sorry mate but I did this for my Curvy which I wouldn't trade for the world as I still believe in carbs and like the curvs of my old steed better than the pointy's sharp ones. Would you believe there still isn't a pointy on this little island of mine?

Well done Quiff, you done a good job. It does look messy at first don't it? But then you keep at it and you get such a nice back end. Looks like something out of MotoGP eh? Pitty the number plate has to ruin it all! Maybe later I'll change my bracket and do something alla R6 so that the number plate is sort of detached from the rear end. But at the moment I'm doing some Camera brackets for my brother so we could do some motion filming whilst on our bikes. I'm doing one for the front which bolts on around the fuel tap and another to shoot the rear view. I'm not sure how I'll be doing that but probably will be using the bungie hooks frame. Can't fix a bracket to an old back seat as the missus is riding pillion most of the time now.
