im still undeciced on my route, but going to the cat & fiddle seems a lot out of the way. im thinking i would rather take the quickest route

1) join jelster & co @ j20 of m6 (how safe is this, is there anywhere to wait?)

2) meet luckypants in north wales

3) go up to bradford on thursday, & join meet any northern monkeys on the friday, anybody going from bradford area

4) Meet us at Lancaster Services where we already have a stop planned ???

might as well go all the way on my own

is this not a good idea? you dont even have to stop just give some sort of sign so i know its not the hells angels or a group going on their rideout & end up back in wales?

its on your route

We'll have about 8 bikes in the group, and I don't really want to bring them off the motorway and stop unless it's a scheduled break.

You know what happens the moment you stop, somebody takes their lid off as they have a problem, then somebody else does the same and a 2 minute stop becomes 15.

I'd like to be at the B&B before 17:00 if possible and to do that I need to keep us moving. Sorry if that soinds a little "anti social" but it's just one of those things with group riding.

sorry, im a little confussed, the place i picked is on your route b4 you join the motorway, thats why i picked it, so you would not be going out of your way at all,(& i would only have to double back a mile or 2) i thought of a few places but this seemed the best & safest,& ideal for all & as i said as long as i know its you, you wont even have to stop.

but if you dont fancy it, its ok

Hovis,

Partly my fault as I couldn't get Imageshack to open the file last night.

Right, if you are waiting on the junction of the A5033 & A556 then I don't see that as a problem. What I didn't want to do was make a physical "stop".

You only have to pull over and somebody starts taking their lid off ete and you're into a 10-15 minute break. If you're ready to go, when you see us coming (it'll be fairly obvious - all those bikes, probably me at the front) just wave. I'll pull over and say Hi, and off we go again, all you have to do is slot in behind the back marker....

.

Well according to every other map I've looked at it's actually the A5033. See here

And it'll be between 15:00 & 15:15....
