I think history will show that he was PM in the longest period of prosperity we've had in the UK. Not sure if we'll see the likes again.

I'mnot sure too much will be differant; it seems gordon brown will be the next PM, who worked closley with Blair and therefore picked up all his habits. Although, his quiet nature does lead me to beleive (perhaps wrongly) that he does think a bit more carefully and may also take into account the nations views - we all cried "no" to the iraq war, but it fell on deaf ears (tony obviously enjoying the sound of his own voice).

I'm a bit young really to have noticed much of the changes that this goverment have made, to be honest it dosnt feel like much has changed, but then I've changed alot since tony blair and labour got into power.

His answer?A total U turn on Iraq, with a rapid drawdown of troops and a complete withdrawal within six months.Brown will then be able to claim credit for getting us out of the mess we are in and go to the country on the strength of that.
You read it here first.

Its the only thing that will bring that man any respect. Otherwise he's out next election and Cameron is in.

Best Prime Minister we have had this century - by miles.

Oh yes, and the best one we had last century as well. With the possible exception of Winnie.

Shure he has made some mistakes in the last 10 years, hands up all those who havn't. Some great achivements that imho more than offset the mistakes.

I remember when he described his priorities as 'education, education, education'.

So why was my daughter in a class of 36 kids, would have been 37 if we hadn't decided that enough was enough. The class of 36 had the headteacher 3 days a week, a part time teacher 2 days a week (who usually had to cram 4 days into 2 and didn't get paid for it), and 1 part time teaching assistant who (rightly) spent her time with the statemented kids. The school had had to lose a teaching post cos of a declining roll, the building was a disgrace, and there was never any money - the head had a constant battle with the LEA to balance the books. And all the while the red tape increased exponentially.

Surely one of a Prime Minister's greatest responsibilities is to invest in the future. Did this one? - like hell. All very well gallivanting around Africa but frankly charity starts at home.

Don't let the door hit your **** on the way out, Prime Minister.

TBH though, David Cameron is more of the same without even Blair's shred of integrity... He's got no idea what he wants to do other than that he wants to be PM.

Zombie John Smith will be our saviour... He can go from "Best Prime Minister we never had" to "First undead prime minister".

Best Prime Minister we've had, Blair only made one mistake, Iraq. Maggies one was being born!!
If Cameron gets in then battern down the hatches its going to be a rough ride, although travel will be cheap, just jump on any passing bandwagon.
