I genetically modify viruses. I can grow you Influenza, Vaccinia or Adenovirus at the moment. Includes expression of reporter genes, most molecular microbiology and virology. Most contract research considered, plus advice given on molecular oncology and animal research ethics.

I have a friend who is good at bikes, for me personally, its a lot of talk, and not a lot of doing. I can change an exhaust, and other minor things.

I'm bringing my carbtune to AR, consider yourself taught (throttle bodies not valves... like I'm going to strip a bike down in the middle of the field).

You'll be supprised just how easy it is to sync throttle bodies.

(Note to self: remember plyers for when the engines hot or you'll burn your hands AGAIN)

I can hit things with a hammer and have tiny hands - so am useful for fishing out those bolts/screws/nuts/sparkplugs etc that you've dropped somewhere awkward.

Yes, I know about leather - but no, I can't repair/adjust/make jackets etc.

There's a huge amount of IT folk on here and I'll contribute to that, I've a developer and my role means I have knowledge on a few things, such as C++/Java, Perl/Korn shell, Transact-SQL/Sybase, I work with SOAP messaging/services as well so maybe useful, also work in Unix so maybe of assistance there too. Lots of my recent experience has involved back-end systems, so not UI-based (eurgh).

Bikes/cars I'm often willing to do things myself (anything) but I'm not an expert or anything. I'll just attempt anything that's got instructions, and even then maybe anyway

I work for this lot

Probably 50% of our business is Military, the rest can be anything Never boring, and I get to play with all sorts of lovely machinery!

Bike-wise, there's nothing I like better than getting hold of something filthy and giving it a damn good polish

I'm an HR Officer - my specialities being charity sector recruitment and equality/diversity issues.

Bikewise I'm totally mechanically inept. The most complex thing I've done to the SV is change the indicators. I don't have the tools or the know-how to do any more than that!
