I have a 06 sv650 and i went riding with mu buddies who have an fz6 and a z1000, it was hard keeping up in the straights but i had my trusty sv up to 139 and it wasnt tached out yet. All the specs ive read say 130, though, so i dont know.

Probably means 130 on the road...not indicated as that will be about 10%(ish) higher on your speedo.

*cough*29 here. No idea how accurate it is, though my bike seems to read lower than a mates Kwak - so one of us is a mile out.
