Here's mine:

Removeable baffles give you lots of choice over the final sound you get. All out shifts the power right up the top if you want it there. 4 combinations.

Well that's what I'm saying. Forget which can you get for a minute but take the exhause off and you can go though it in 1 (one) minute with a proper hacksaw and not fiddle about trying to avoid bits you really don't want to chow through.

But back on topic......

A16 Road n Race Coloured titanium for my SV650 was £120 inc p+p

Same company for my SV 1000 was £265 inc p+p(pair and road legal) again coloured titanium.

Give them a call for current prices and options..

I am not connected in any way to this company, I just rate the quality of the products and service given

Sounds a good price for coloured titanium. Do you have a web address?

I first found them on e-bay, try a search for seller using "a16roadnrace" or a combination of that and you will find them. I also met them at the Tail end show at peterborough.
Small (ish) company but all the stuff on display at their stand was good. You can even get the stuff to repair and repack other exhausts including end caps and the stainless rivets. Give em a call, its better than looking at stuff on line, and you actually get to talk to the folks that do the work.....not just a salesperson

Just a word of caution, these titanium finishes are very very easy to come off. I've seen so many bikes around (including mine) that the blue titanium finish has pretty much totally rubbed off where the rear band holds it on the bike + it will scrape straight off from any scooters jaming their bike against you in tight parking situations.

My Micron zeta poped a while ago (was bought off ebay accident damaged by previous owner), ordered a new one and the finish was pre-scuffed off, they had over packed it with bubble rap in the box or something and some had worn off before even fitting it.

I returned it and am awaiting the plain titanium finish that can't wear off.

Basically anything hard or sharp gentely scraped along it will take the finish off.

[quote=webgeeze;1212581]I guessed that would be the way to do it. It seems mad taking an angle grinder to a brand new bike I just paid over £4k for. I've chased walls in my house for new power leads, so am used to using an angle grinder and know what you mean about the kick they can give.

Was it worth the effort then? I hear good things about the Fuel exhaust, does it sound a lot different?

Not sure my neighbours would like this one

I've put a blue flame can on my Y2K curvy. I just measured about 1/4 of the way down from the stock can, put an angel clip round the pipework to keep the cut square and used an angle grinder to do the job as a hacksaw was too much effort! Rebuilding my engine at the moment but once its all back together im putting new headder pipes on

I'd suggest clamping a jubilee clip around the pipe to give you a squared line to work to and use a cutting disc in an angle grinder to do the work. Make sure you cover as much of the bike as possible to protect from sparks and put something solid and soft behind the exhaust against the swingarm to stop it getting damaged by a possible slip - I'd say a piece of plywood would suffice. As long as you don't shake like a cat caught on an electric fence, you'll be ok.

Just take the flaming pipes off. It take a few minutes and you dont have to worry about any other part of the bike.
