started when i was 8 and never stopped. dad liked bikes, forced it on his son. I now ride everyday due to the fact ive never gotten around to sorting out a car licence. and cars seem so dull and i hate traffic.

I love the tingling sensation that transmits through a motorcycle seat, something I have found difficult to replicate in any other way. What other reason would there be?

I ride because it's the only thing on this earth that might make me look forward to going to work.

Easiest andbest way of getting to work.
Nice to go out for rides on my own/with friends/with GF as pillion. Was brought up around bikes, dad racing, spending every weekend at race circuits while all the other kids played at home. Can't complain, i simply love motorsport, cars, bikes, anything with an engine. All happy days. You can't beat the G-Force of a car, but then you also can't beat braking hard into a bend, taking the right gears, chucking it over, and accelerating out the other side. Thats why a lot of fighter pilots also own bikes. Closest thing they can get. I reckon a lot of bikers would also really enjoy Jetskiing as its fairly similar, but doesn't hurt as much when you come off (but rest assured, you can still do some damage!!). Its a freedom, and a rush, and pleasurable relaxation at the same time. |

because it's cool!!!
but really i just like the buzz. i like fast cars and bikes. i could afford a hot hatch, but i would then have to use this everyday. expensive tyres, expensive running costs, poor mpg...... so i got a basic car and my bike. now can go fast/ out for a blast when i feel i want to and use the car to cover the 2500miles a month i do for work. now though i feel loads of different things about biking, the best just being out somewhere with stunning countryside glorious weather on your own without a care in the world! |
