Graeme insurance will be a lot. I'm 29, 4 years NCB and it cost me £700 more for the rest of the year which was probably only six months. I'll have 5 years NCB soon so will be able to shop around for a good quote. The cheapest you can get is third party only though and the next up third party fire and theft so if you're gonna garage it unless you have an ultra secure garage I'd get TPFT. I'd seriously find out how much it'll cost though before you get the bike cos you're a youngen aren't you? SV is group 10 and the 675 is group 16 as far as I know. Hope you do get one though!

Can't wait to do the ringing round thing come insurance renewal. What a waste of time. Come April I'll be able to get protected no claims so I'll be a lot happier.

Offtopic did you buy Sarah's SV?

For all you prospective and current 675 owners, i bumped into a guy with one the other day and he highly recommended this brand of crash protection.

Graham Banks Racing: www.gbracing.eu

He had chucked his bike down the road and this stuff really did save the bike. I was pretty amazed at how well it had done its job.

He managed to get the lot (full protection) for a little over ?250, which when you consider the cost of the bike, could definitely be worth it.

The various frame sliders, paddock stand bobbins looked as good as any i have seen, but what really impressed me were the engine covers. Normally i wouldn't bother with something like this, but they were incredibly well made(injection moulded/perfect fit) and really didnt spoil the look of the bike at all.

If they did them for the R6, i would have them in a flash.

Just throwing it out there, in case any of you guys(or girl) are interested.

Cheers ASM. I think Laura has her favourite and I have mine. I'm going mental with the bungs and not getting covers. They do pivot point sliders and even rear subframe ones which I'll be using on track. They way I see it I'd rather the bungs take it than any engine/clutch covers. That reminds me I NEED to get some soon.

I know my SE is supposed to be 1 of 150 in the UK-tbh i dont hold my breath in beliving it.
How much is it? and is everyone getting a 675 on here now LOL!
Not sure then, it was ?7400 Graphite Grey with everything carbon. 1 of 100 it says on the triumph website 'Masterbike Ltd Edition', they offered ?3200 p/x on mine.

However, Insurance pretty much said no anyway they want ?900 for TPF&T.......but thats ?900 for only the final 2 months of my policy through March and April. Which is crazy as I can find insurance for ?659 Fully comp for the year come renewal time so frustrating, it ruined a good weekend, had a good ride on saturday :P.
