according to google's cache of the wiki article on "Tea" it's the way Blue said, however i'd always thought it was the other way as china cups were fragile

@Seggons - bet you've never split a near full 4 pinter going for a gap in the fridge door that you knew was disappearing too quickly

Blue, how the fark do you know about tea and china and milk and class and the such? And why don't you just put less water in the mug?
