Simply: It is lighter, more robust and we can submerge it in water and it will still work (ideal for beach and covert insertion roles).

M.A.N.PA.D sustem...(Manually portable Air defense system)...Its more clinical from the outside but devastating inside a building.Shoulder launched and can be fitted into a golf bag.
Might damage any prospective new cowl that happens to be in its way tho????
