I got a GSXR 1000 K4 shock now, and the nut and bolt!
Got them from www.robinsonsfoundry.co.uk, cost a fairly stupid £7 all in, but easier than ordering it from a dealer etc. Not fitted it yet. Would like to avoid cutting a hole in the battery box if possible, by moving the undertray, but need to take it apart to check if it will look alright, and I'm a bit worried that it if I move the battery box backwards it will foul the hugger. I need to fit the hugger first.... Whilst on the subject, what sag do people find works best front and rear? |

i cut mine but found i had to cut away the ECU slot too which causes problems every now and again.
Will have a new housing for it in my new undertray i'm gonna make and it's good with the hugger, no problems whatsoever. |

Got my hugger on now and yeah, there is loads of room.
Got any pics of your undertray? What problems do you have the ecu? |

Mmm think I may have just spent money on a shock that won't be of any use
![]() Just bought an 04 GSXR 1000 shock to fit to my 2002 Curvy. Now reading more and more into it seems that it is sprung lighter than my stock shock which was my primary reason to get a shock upgrade as I weight about 13.5 stone without my gear on and sometimes take my girly on the back. On some very hefty research discovered the people that had fitted this shock to a curvy discovered the spring actually fouls the swingarm. Can anybody cooberate this or offer any suggestions? xXBadgerXx has a GSXR 1000 which has stiffened his suspension as his is a Pointy 430 spring rate curvy being 510. The GSXR shock is 480 which is softer is this the way it works. Any help will be grand.
