Never thought of that, very good idea.

Not really, just remove the foam from the underside of the tank.

Looking back at that Dyno, i don't think there is an M4 fitted as it doesn't look to good!

I have a Scotts damper confiured with standard handlebars so that stops me from raising the tank--so it has been good to hear that raising tank may not be that significant an issue.

You do not need to wait for the full system to do the swap and with a little patience you can snag the 2nd generation intake cams from someone parting an engine for about 1/4 the cost of buying the cams new. The race forums are the best place to keep an eye out.

55.00 USD/34 GBP (+ - 4-times that cost to purchase the same intake cams new).

One of the forum links to watch is:
http://forums.13x.com/forumdisplay.php?f=47 The problem is, high demand items often sell the same day they are listed. The Gen 2 intake cams are a high demand item. You can subscribe to a particular portion of the forum and you would get a daily e-mail of current items for sale; I in turn, would search that e-mail for "sv" to see if there was anything that was interesting. Good luck.

Thats easily solved, remove the damper as the SV doesn't need one and they only mask chassis/handling issues.

True, you do not need to wait for a system but it is the gas flow that will need improving when the cams are fitted to make the full potential from them.

.
True, BUT, racing organizations insist on them. Plus, even for track riding, they diminish headshake on those occassions when you go airborne.

Where do you race, and what championship? Never known a steering damper to be mandatory as they mask handling problems.
