Hi Lissa. Dont think youll have to go far to find something to eat. Have been to Hartington before, the next village, which has a couple of pubs. Have been in the Charles Cotton there, a good pub that does nice food. There is also a cheese factory and shop for the mice amongst you

Have a look at this place. I've stayed in one of the smaller barns/stables and thought it was good. There's a decent pub (Red Lion) within walking distance that does food and a Gastro-Pub (Druid Inn), also within walking distance.

Pretty good in the Red Lion. Can't say about the Druid Inn, as I've not been in since it stopped being a proper pub!
