I bought a 1080p projector for ~£1000 just before christmas and now have a 100" screen. You should have a wonder down to your local "richer sounds" shop and ask to see one, you will probably be surprised at how good they are.

We did, also to my friends hifi shop in town. There was one I liked, but it was over 3K. Our room can be sunny too, so a tv worked out best.

If you've already got a 42", and combine it with a projector, it'd be perfect! Just have a screen that rolls down when you want to watch Movies

(cheaper alternative - move the sofa closer )

We would really like to go for it, but it's a good bit cheaper than the other 60", which cost a good bit more. Anyone have any experience of LG? Good or bad?
LG are the largets electornics company in the world. My LG plasma is very nice ta. AS for a 60" screen!!! How big exactly is your room? All screens have an optimum viewing distance and i think that a 60" screen in something like 20ft

It's really big- thought it was 24 feet long but oh reckons 28 - it's two rooms of a 1930's bungalow knocked together, so it will work ok I reckon. The 42 " one we have there already looks too small.
