stoner is certainly arrogant, but then the best usually are. stoner doesn't feel like he deserves the treatment he gets from the rest of the grid out on track, for example rossi at leguna. i thought it were a firm but fair battle and stoner shouldnt have had any issues with rossi, but he did and that took the shine a little away from one of the greatest races i have ever seen.

Imagine how much Stoner would have been hated if he'd been the one complaining about being on the wrong tyres and giving his supplier a right royal up-yours. But Rossi does it and everyone's "hmmmm he does have a point"
![]() I don't think Stoner does a great deal wrong, he should just keep his mouth shut from time to time. |

I dont know, but I'm glad they've banned it, but they havent gone far enough, they should have banned the whole damn lot and put the rider back in control of it.

Casey Stoner + Honda = Not so great season or two.
Casey Stoner + Ducati = Wins one of um and IMO rides a challenging couple too, completely turning round from Honda. His only nack is, he's like Alonso, he didn't like losing when he had already tasted glory. A good thing about Valentino for me is, he's done it all now, battled the **** out of seasons, lost, won, knows what its like to lose out and will stick his hands up to a feck up. His mind control and attitude to losing, his humour whatever the state of his weekend is 9/10 tip top, this for me (don't talk physically for a second) is 1-0 to Valentino over Casey, purely through mental precision. Physically, be it rider or bike, there are so many factors that we could p1ss and moan about all day and night that make one better than the other... |

Yes Valentino is true sportsman, he gives it 200% and does not blame others for his problems. I never get tired of watching Vale race.

I can't discuss Stoner as a person as I have never met the guy.
But he is a MotoGP rider and he is judged on his results. And his results at Ducati have been excellent. |
