Yeah 2 recorded to the DVLA & it can withdraw your no. plate private or not. Not sure why you could only get a Q plate? maybe that would be cheaper than qualifing for the plate for your year?

Why wouldn't the DVLA sell your private plate again eventually?

But you can't assume you are safe just because your big bright indicator is on. You should do visual checks anyway

You could probably describe mine as 'small'

My bike has been checked over at well known bike spots on various occasions with no issues so far, I was polite when approached and the bike was insured and taxed.....so off they went to the next bike.



I am tempted to swap it at in the very near future to be honest......The first time I get pulled and fined I will be getting one less 'pull me please' though

I would wait til after your first reported to DVLA. It's only £30 and they don't seem to be interested
