PS On the insurance, opting out of cover for commuting and carrying pillions made a big difference

I'm pretty sure it did, not as much as the commuting though, I think that was £50+ extra

I got mine off ebay for £79 inc del, its a DID x ring i think . It arrived the day after i ordered it, i will deffinately be getting it from them again.

I didn't realise that carrying a pillion would put the price up, i think i will not bother next time, i don't have a back seat anyway!

Did you wave? I was looking out for ya but couldn't see anything but then again if i am looking in the right place the blinds were shut I will give it a good rev next time i go past :P

you need a propper chain splitter/rivetting tool to do it properly, a naff job can see your chain go into the wheel and that will hurt more than your pocket.

I have a chain rivetting tool. It works a treat, we could pop round and help you do it with the tool if you want, that way you will get a propper job and no worries about your chain.

Let me know.

Zobers, you're a star

Let me know whenever's good for you. Hopefully I should finish work early tomorrow, then we've just got DIY and entertaining the sprogs over the weekend. PM me for my address if that's OK, we're in Quorn

I've no great rush for the MOT now, I'm not gonna get to ready before Saturday. I was just doing some final checks tonight and the horn gave two squeaks then died completely, so I've got to look in to that
