slightly edited my post lol, but tbh it is hard to find "dodgy" mot guys round here now- i know when i had my first sv i could get it passed with full race system on and all they would say was "its abit loud", somehow i know thats NOT going to be the case with the 675 LOL

You mean your Akro system?

I have no chance if that was classed as a bit loud That was quiet

That was loud when fully warmed up, but no where no as ear bleeding loud as the 675 is, can you not put baffle in yours?

PS the avon storms i put on today rock. 195 fitted. million times better than the knackered old d220's that had a plug in and some of the canvas was visible down the centre. doh
If you can get over to Nuneaton easily and know where One Stop Bikes is (Attleborough Industrial Est) I'd go there, friendly bunch of blokes.

my bike has the single seat conversion so the bike couldn't carry any passengers which is why i have removed my left passenger footrest. But the bloke said "rear passenger foot rests are not required by law, however if they are not present then there must be a structure available for a passenger to support his/her weight i.e. a grabrail"(pretty much word for word). so there is no rear seat on the bike, so no chance of carrying passengers, but he wants to see a grab rail or 2 footrests for the passengers i will not be carrying!!!!

anybody had same thing on there MOT test?
I had it when i i had a seat and one footrest (Well the hanger was there, but the foot peg had fallen off) and failed on that. Having re-read your post, it probably failed as it only had 1 foot reat. If you took both off and had a seat cowl then it would have passed. Its being pedantic, but mine on it was the same, but did have the seat on. Its the same that its not a legal requirement to have a spare wheel on a car, but if its there it has to be legal! Pedantic, but correct im affraid!
