So what was bad about his standard of driving that you need to report?

I do hate some of this stereotypical rubbish about people with blacked out beemers and what they are likely to be involved in, bullsh1t. It's just like saying every biker is a hairy fat fook, going on the Harley Davidson stereotype (okay so I fit that ).

I don't entirely get why you want to report the guy when you have an illegal numberplate yourself. I'm sure you do more incriminating things on the road in a day than he does

Him possibly losing his private plate and a fine seemed appealing.
So report him for dangerous driving, and not mention the plate?

Dangerous Driving without witnesses = talking to

Private Plate with dodgy spacing and non-standard colouring = possible more hassle.

Thats where I was coming from.

Not worth the effort, IMO.

Report for dangerous driving, cops go around to "have a word" and notice dodgy plate for themselves.

erm , David do you not have anything better to do with your day??

I dont mean to be funny mate but honestly, you ride in London and most car drivers think the same about your riding as you do of this car..

How many times have you been reported for your plates?, or your dangerous driving??

Right, before this gets too out of hand, some info. (cut and pasted from an IM conversation I had with someone about it).

tbh if you've got a illegal plate you can't really take offence to other's illegal plate's bit hypocritical imo.

Exactly my point - but we all do it - the question really was at which point do we each NOT find it to be hypocritical, hence the sliding-scale poll.
