Nope! I'm not a fan either. Purely on looks. Never ridden one, but it doesn't do owt for me. Same as Gixxers. I have never ever considered one. Had a brief ride on a 750 and didn't like it.

To many of the people I have talked to bought it because it was "shiny" and "all the cool kids had one", just like the iPod, I always heard grumbles about how gorgeous it is (and the 675 IS a looker) and how shiney, but yet it failed in this way or that way.

Hence this old chestnut.

Still at least Triumph allow you to use it on any road you want, and dont insist you fill it with petrol from approved pumps only...

And that's the beauty of independent thought....if it wasn't for that, we'd all be riding around on the same bike.

What! 1400 active members on the same bike?
It'll never happen cos some will want to be on a pointy thing.

Not only does Soulkiss not like them but he seems to pop up in most 675 threads to air his dislike and insinuate all owners are airheads who bought them because they are shiney and not the fact that they are brilliant bikes. I'd also love to know where he heard about all of the Daytona's failings and exactly what they are as I must be extremely lucky with mine. Maybe I'm unique in that I bought it because of all of it's good points and I have one without failings.

So there is nothing wrong with them that changing the bars, seat and rearsets wont fix.

Just like there is nothing wrong with an iPhone that Jailbreaking it wont fix.

Case rested...

Not being as comfy as a goldwing is as much of a failing for any sportsbike as not being capable off road, and moaning about it is as daft as complaining that your harley doesn't keep up with the sportbikes on the track

If you want a razor sharp track weapon you buy a sportsbike, man up and deal with the limitations, if you're a bit portly and need a comfy seat for your piles you buy something like a Kawasaki Z750...
