I once clicked the button twice to pay £1000 off my credit card - realised what I had done and phoned Capital One straight away - the guy said there was nothing he could do and I would have to request a refund which would take 28 days. Was a nightmare month

I cant remember what I did now - but I was only a poor student at the time and the £1000 hole it put in my current account was the bad bit.

It's transferred to another account in my name, the reason I got the bloody accoutn number wrong is because on the documentation they've missed the zeros off the front so assumed that was how it was entered grrrr.

No, I rang that number they said any queries regarding anything other than credit cards accounts & lost/stolen aren't 24 hour.
