Thank you for the reminder about the restriction kit, I had no plans to go to my local dealer, who quoted me £350 for a restriction kit consisting of some washers and a stop fitted to my throttle. I was of the opinion that at that price, I may as well just redo my DAS test again!
![]() ![]() A small shop called Black Cats in Weston Super Mare have said that they would be happy to confirm my fitting of a kit, for a small fee, if I needed it for my insurance. They are a good shop and one I would happily recommend to Weston based bikers. ![]() I will keep you updated with my streetfighter project progress and hopefully once I am better in 2010 I will be back on my bikes. Top tip, don't get hurt just before you plan to take your test... ![]() |

They are a separate part that bolt through the top yoke. Judging from the pic in the ebay ad, this didn't include these.

Yeah, no risers attached. But this is not a bad thing, gives us a bit more scope to get it set up as we want.
Hopefully it will be up and running in the summer with it's new set up and me on the front seat. Hugs XX |

unfortunately not cheap though. I'd be looking for alternatives.

Top Yoke has arrived and it is in very good order, with a few dirty marks.
![]() It is in need of a polish to give it that mirror finish as popularised by by Liam Simpson! Hmm, I can feel a week of sore hands coming on, along with broken finger nails and lots of very rude swearing! ![]() First job, get rid of casting marks and rough edges. ![]() |
