Hi Jenny,

Rather than a recommendation I'll ask a few questions which might help you decide what you want from your next bike..

1) As YorkieChris has already asked, what will you be using the bike for?

2) How important is performance to you? Do you want a faster bike?

3) How important is size and weight?

4) What sort of budget are you looking at?

5) Would it make sense to replace the fuel tank on your SV, and buy something completely different as a second bike??

My suggestion would be to think about what you want it to do, then take a few test rides to see what's comfortable. Once you've done this you'll be able to rule out a whole lot of bikes and focus on the ones that suit you best.

Keith.

Deauville?

I'd look for something all-round like an SV, but quicker. Not a Fazer though, because the fuel consumption is pure urine extraction. GSXR 750? Triumph Sprint? Seem well rated by Org-ers who have moved up in the world.

Or just get a better (pointy) version of what you've got! Mwahahaha

I would also ask what height you are Jenny, as this will have a bearing on what bike you get, you dont want to buy one then realise you dont feel comfortable as you cant get your foot down.

I would recommend you take a look at this website http://www.bikegirl.co.uk/ they have a list of bikes and the heights of people who ride them and their heights and what they think of them.
