Are you a big fan of Rupert Murdoch by any chance?
I avoid buying anything to do with him as well.

Correct.

Dorna declared that they wanted the live race to be aired by a national TV carrier, and wouldn't grant the rights to a multi-national like Erosport. Fine if you're in Spain, where this stuff is seen as premier leauge TV. Less good if you're stuck on Superbike Island, where we apparently like a good tennis match instead.

BBC's coverage has been no better, or worse than last year. However, they declared in a press statement that now they had an exclusive deal, that they would be upping their coverage, and I've not seen a lot of evidence of this.

Indeed, yet if this was something a little more mainstream there wouldnt be an issue. Hell if they can manage to cover on BBC2 4 nights of World Championship Track Cycling then surely they can find some time for 125 & 250 especially with Bradley and Scot in the lower classes...

Not sure about alot of this, i watched the qualifying live & don't have sky or eurosport, admittedly at some stupid o'clock when everyone else was asleep, then watched the 125 & Moto2 live through red button sunday evening, then wet upstairs ( she had had enough) to watch the motoGP on bbc3

So, think maybe it is by area or maybe depends on what digi/freesat box you have plugged in.
Could not get qualifying on the freesat upstairs, but could on the big one downstairs !

Qualifying was re-run after midnight IIRC so that might have been what you saw. The live session definitely wasn't on BBC TV.

I dont have Sky, I have Virgin and Im more than happy with it. My only complaint now is that having aqcuired Eurosport HD, they still dont show enough racing on it. Most of it is still on ES2 only.

BBC should be covered in adverts, its a joke having to pay a licence fee for what it provides for me. They've privatised other public bodies so its about time the BBC was sold off.
