What sort of recipes are you going to put in the book? Is it going to be for example restaurant type food made on a household budget? posh food, or just home cooking?

Delia is home cooking
Nigela is lazy cooking
Ramsey is chef cooking
Jamie is budget, easy cooking

Just trying to find out where your fitting in within that type of category if that makes sense?

If you can manage to come up with 'Recipes even's LPH's husband can manage' then you are definitely onto a winner. I should warn you though, he once messed up the preparation of a Pot Noodle then rang me in the middle of a really important work meeting to ask if he should wrap a jacket potato in foil before putting it in the microwave.

Got a title for the book yet? That might spark a direction to take with the USP?

If you don't have a title yet, how about "The Bellycoptor Cookbook"?

Simply brilliant Mike

Anna, good point. That's the trouble. I don't want to make myself something I'm not. I am just nothing interesting unfortunately.

Haha. The book is basically going to be a kind of bible for the home cook. How to stock your store cupboard, fast and easy recipes, old fashioned family favourites, super budget cooking, a bit of posh for when you want to impress, easy and food for friends, ways of getting kids to eat veg.

It's aimed at being a "go to" book. Want to know what to do if you're having a bunch of friends over but have to feed all 10 of them for £20? Well, I can show you how to not only feed them all, but feed them all well and with three full courses for £18.

Want to know how to cook a decent, healthy and really tasty meal when you get home from a few days away and have nothing in the fridge? Well, go to that chapter and it's full of recipes for creating meals purely from your store cupboard.

Want to be able to cook a recipe from the book and not be left with bits of leftover ingredients and no idea what to do with them? Well, my book will tell you what you can do, there'll be no food waste = better value for money.

Maybe that's it. I can be like a cooking fairy godmother?

Must be really difficult for you, I don`t know you that well but what I do see is somebody that is passionate about cooking, is also very confident and outgoing. Can you go down the road of using your passion for the subject and maybe encouraging people to cook with confidence? you also seem to use the seasons as in using seasonal ingredients and recipes... seasonal cooking? hmmmm I`m a bit rubbish at this really but i`ll carry on having a think

Sounds like it`d be the only kind of cookery book you`d need....... as Anna says a bible of sorts? everything in one book. A recipe for all seasons, all themes and all means type of thing?
