On Thursday night, Gilmour's mother posted a message on her Tw4tter account saying: 'Son in a mess after day at protests. Battered and bleeding with smashed phone. Not making much sense. Am fearful.'

Maybe she should be more worried about him being a total W*nk3r, abusing the memory of the dead and taking hard core drugs! What next? Mowing a biker down when drunk in a high powered car!

is it not the universities which make the decision to increase the fees where the government have only allowed them to do it? why are they not smashing universities up?

Because the government cutting the universities funding means they'll have no choice.

heres some info for you reguarding the protection details sops

1/ why drive them thru a riot,
strangly this may actually be a safer option ,all routes taken are subject to a reveiw by the team with such things as choke points escape routes and even width of road taken into account, the roads around the area may have been a bigger threat in a worst case senario

2/ shooting the protester who threw the can
there is a limited time when you can shoot someone throwing a object eg grenade etc that is when the have the item in the trowing motion so from arm back about to throw to release of object is valid before and after are not as they are not concidered a threat before and after release there threat is concidered ended, this comes under the rules of engagement and the officer would be done for murder if he shot someone outside this miniscule amaount of time, dont you just love how fine the line is

This does assume that out of the aftermath, somebody who wants to see the officer prosecuted can prove exactly when the shot was fired.
