Tried a bottle last night. Not going to be a vintage year I'm afraid. Needs a lot more Ginger. As such, along with the fear of exploding beverage on the M1, I shall not be taking any of my fizzy alcoholic lemon with a hint of Ginger to the AR.

Do what I did 2 years ago a week before the AR.
My proper brew (4 weeks brewing before bottling) came out tasting a lot like beer with a hint of ginger) To make it more pallatable to the masses, I dumped a load of powdered ginger and some more sugar to make it more alco-pop in it and left it. Turned out fine

I don't know there, the other day I had a pint of a dingle beer called weavers ginger.
Definitely a bitter, but with a ginger after taste. Actually quite pleasant. But so mixed up you just knew there were dingles involved in it.
